The Role

As our VP of Product Management, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of SensorUp's innovative methane emissions software solutions. You'll lead our product strategy and roadmap, driving the development of cutting-edge features that empower oil and gas companies to achieve their environmental goals. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver world-class products, solidifying SensorUp's position as an industry pioneer.

Your Influence

  • Define and evangelize the product vision: Within your first 90 days, you'll immerse yourself in SensorUp's core technology and market, defining a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and resonates with our target audience. You'll then effectively communicate this vision internally and externally, becoming a key advocate for our solutions at conferences and industry events.
  • Drive product roadmap and execution: You'll be responsible for developing and owning the comprehensive product roadmap for our solutions, ensuring it addresses critical market needs and translates into actionable development plans.
  • Champion customer needs: You'll consistently gather and integrate customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence into product requirements, ensuring our solutions provide unparalleled value and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Lead and inspire product teams: You'll provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate across functions: You'll work closely with sales, engineering, and customer success to align product development with commercial strategy, ensuring successful product launches and widespread adoption.

Your Experience

  • Extensive background in product leadership within the oil and gas or energy tech sector: You'll have a proven track record of successfully leading product strategy and development for enterprise software solutions in this industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its complexities and challenges.
  • Strong technical acumen with software products: While not a coding role, you understand the fundamentals of software development and can effectively communicate with engineering teams, translating market needs into technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales-account driven environment: You have a unique ability to bridge the gap between product and sales, understanding the sales cycle and how product can enable commercial success.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills: You're a compelling communicator, able to articulate complex product concepts to diverse audiences, from internal teams to prospective customers and industry thought leaders at conferences.
  • Experience defining and executing product strategy throughout the entire product lifecycle: You're adept at transforming customer insights into impactful product features and managing products from conception to end-of-life.

Salary ranges are determined by the role and level required for the position. Factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training and location determine individual pay. The position is also eligible for equity, bonus, and participation in our total rewards package in your area.
