The Role

SensorUp is hiring a Customer Success Manager who is focused on delivering value to our customers and partners. Responsibilities include providing product support to clients; understanding customer data, operational workflows, and system requirements; providing training on the SensorUp platform; and keeping up with industry trends and regulatory requirements to improve customer experience and value. Managing these responsibilities may include weekly client touchpoints, building and managing delivery timelines, attending industry events, and communicating with the rest of the SensorUp team.

Your Influence

  • Customer Success Management: Understand oil and gas industry reporting requirements and associated measurement data to provide ongoing technical product support, and help clients effectively utilize SensorUp products to achieve emission results.
  • Project Management: Onboard new clients, including setup, configuration, and training. Develop and manage delivery timelines, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Sales Enablement: Support sales teams by offering customer account knowledge, and facilitating communications to enable sales teams to close deals. Liaise with product engineering to ensure requirements discovered in sales processes are understood and feasible.
  • Success in 30 days: Understand the SensorUp product and begin to shadow existing client interactions. Assist with client data onboarding and training. Understand our customer’s pain points and how we provide value.
  • Success in 60 days: Lead client account management, begin to factor in regulation and customer needs into customer deployment and delivery.
  • Success in 90 days: Manage client delivery timelines, outline project milestones, and handle client technical support and troubleshooting independently

Your Experience

  • Business / Engineering / Technical background: Proven experience in technical project management, business requirements analysis, systems integration, or a related technical field.
  • Oil and Gas Expertise: Knowledge of upstream and midstream oil and gas operations, data systems, reporting and regulations, and workflows.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate and resolve technical issues.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects on time, including providing training and building reports or dashboards.
  • Client Interaction: Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in customer success, technical support, or consultancy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary ranges are determined by the role and level required for the position. Factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training and location determine individual pay. The position is also eligible for equity, bonus, and participation in our total rewards package in your region.
