Role Snapshot

  • Diagnose and repair systems: steering, electrical, cooling/lubrication, brakes, drivelines/suspensions, power steering, clutches, transmissions, regulators (oil/temp/fuel), plus engine adjustments and rebuilds aligned to your qualification level and to all Federal, State/Provincial, and local rules.
  • Test-drive to verify customer concern resolution.
  • Obtain mandatory inspections/approvals on major work before release.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, efficient bay in full regulatory compliance.
  • Escalate additional repairs discovered (including those requiring higher certifications).
  • Record labor, parts, and services accurately in required forms/systems.
  • Respond to road calls and complete on-site fixes as needed.
  • Alert the Lead Technician to unsafe practices/conditions or vehicle abuse.

Must-Haves

  • 2–4 years in medium/heavy truck or fleet repair.
  • Proven diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C expertise.
  • Strong foundation across major vehicle systems and diesel platforms; experience with gasoline systems.
  • Background in fleet operations.
  • Owns the recommended Diesel Technician hand tools.
  • Reliable judgment and decision-making.
  • Valid state driver’s license (CDL preferred).
  • ASE certification desirable, not required.

Pay & Perks

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual compensation depends on location, skills, and experience. This position may also include bonus, equity, or commissions. Full-time employees receive Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Holidays, Wellness, Vacation, and more. The targeted pay range for this role is up to $45–50/hr.
