Manufacturing Test Technician II

The Manufacturing Test Technician II will be part of a manufacturing team performing electro-mechanical assembly using knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronics systems to install electromechanical components and equipment. The Manufacturing Test Technician II will work in close collaboration with other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity. This position will work onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Manufacturing Test Technician II Job Duties:
- Perform electro-mechanical assemblies with or without BKM (Best Known Method) assembly instruction
- Understand Lean manufacturing process and support implementation
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing documentation including drawings, schematics, P&ID, BOM (Bill of Material), wiring diagram, and BKM
- Support and manage inventory control and workflow management
- Assist the manufacturing manager in developing and implementing appropriate systems to measure department efficiencies, product quality, and performance
- Perform in process inspection as well as final inspection
- Perform final system Q.A. on individual assembly work – report any problems per established company manufacturing guidelines
- Test and calibrate parts, mechanisms, and sub-assemblies to meet tolerances and specifications for ZincFive products
- Responsible for individual station record keeping, cleanliness, and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Take direction from the direct manager/supervisor to execute production and shipment priorities and resource alignment.
- Escalate any manufacturing related issues to direct manager/supervisor and seek a short term and long-term solution to all open action items or issues
- Monitor production throughput and close out all open production orders based on monthly production plan
- Work directly with shipping logistics and procurement to monitor material shortage issues and escalate immediately to minimize production delays if necessary
- Perform focus driven execution without interruption and meet compressed schedule deadlines
- Requires ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand while exchanging accurate information.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of electromechanical integration and testing
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
- Product or industry-specific experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of manufacturing
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Relevant certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
- Associate degree in manufacturing, machine technology, electro-mechanical integration

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Work involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stooping throughout the workday

- Ability to wear required face and body PPE to protect against high voltage
- Lifting to 25 pounds
- Requires close visual acuity and ability to distinguish color
- Warehouse and manufacturing environments
