Product Program Manager
Position Overview
The Product Program Manager (Product PM) is a critical execution leader responsible for orchestrating the lifecycle of custom, high-performance thermal systems from initial order release through shipment-readiness. Serving as the vital bridge between design and physical delivery, this role manages the cross-functional execution across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Quality.
The ideal candidate does not just track tasks; they own program risk, drive operational readiness, challenge execution gaps, and guarantee that what is promised to the customer is built on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities – Including but not limited to
Drive the execution strategy for complex custom air handling and/or liquid cooling projects, ensuring full alignment between engineering maturity, manufacturing throughput, and supply chain timelines.
Proactively mitigate critical-path risks and manage engineering/design changes before they impact production costs or schedules.
Partner with Sales PMs and Engineering prior to order release to validate execution feasibility, ensuring customer commitments align with factory capacity and design readiness.
Synthesize customer needs and technical constraints to guide prioritization and scope decision
Lead daily/weekly syncs across engineering, production, and sourcing to unblock bottlenecks and maintain delivery momentum.
Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure all testing protocols and compliance documentations are executed and verified.
Ensure the creation and delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality Service Readiness Package for seamless field installation, commissioning, and startup.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing readiness protocols, reducing late-stage engineering changes and post-delivery field surprises.
· Serve as the central execution anchor across the business, collaborating seamlessly with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, and Field Service teams to drive operational discipline and ensure flawless product handovers from order release to final delivery.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations, or a closely related technical field
5+ years of dedicated project or program management experience within a complex environment – ideally manufacturing, industrial, HVAC
Strong grasp of project management frameworks and software (e.g., waterfall, Agile, hybrid, critical path method
· Proven experience managing complex, multi-project programs - owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results across all levels of leadership
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
Strong problem-solving ability to challenge technical and execution risks with a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet business commitments and committed schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, or other Program Management and problem-solving certification.
Experience in the custom Air handling, thermal management, or liquid cooling sectors: particularly servicing mission-critical environments like hyperscale data centers, healthcare, or cleanrooms.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets exceeding several million dollars.
Direct experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles or transitioning custom prototypes to standardized manufacturing processes.
