About the Role
Join a fast-growing service team supporting mission-critical cooling systems for data centers and advanced industrial environments. You’ll be hands-on with high-performance chillers, HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and HVAC controls, traveling to job sites, commissioning systems, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring peak performance in the field.
This is a high-impact, travel-intensive role with strong earning potential through overtime and travel.
Travel & Location
Typical schedule: 2 weeks in the field / 1 week home (flexible based on projects)
Open to candidates based anywhere in the United States, with preference for candidates located near major airports
Primary project locations include Amarillo, Texas; Abilene, Texas; and other locations throughout the continental United States as business needs require
Frequent travel to support commissioning, start-up, service, and warranty activities at customer facilities and data centers

What You’ll Do
Rework & Completion: Prepare and finalize units for field deployment, ensuring quality and readiness
Start-Up & Commissioning: Perform electrical, mechanical, chiller/refrigeration, and HVAC controls verification (L2–L5)
Chiller Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair chillers, refrigeration circuits, compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and associated mechanical components
Field Service: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and cooling systems, including controls and automation components, on-site
System Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and controls-related issues affecting chiller and cooling system performance
Customer Support: Represent the company in the field with strong communication and professionalism
Documentation: Complete service reports, track issues, and support continuous improvement
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in chiller service, commercial/industrial HVAC, HVAC field service, commissioning, or industrial/mechanical systems
Strong hands-on chiller technician/mechanic experience, including troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial or industrial chillers and refrigeration systems
Strong troubleshooting skills across refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
Experience working with compressors, refrigerant circuits, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related chiller components
Experience with HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), BACnet, Modbus, PLCs, or similar control platforms is highly preferred
Experience with commissioning/start-up is a plus
Willingness to travel frequently (50–80%)
Ability to work extended hours and overtime as needed
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
