JOB DESCRIPTIONWVR is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician to support the commissioning, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of instrumentation and electrical systems for the Wabash Project in West Terre Haute, Indiana.The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. This position reports to the Vice President Technology. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Associate degree or technical certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.• Five (5) or more years of industrial I&E maintenance experience in a refinery, chemical plant, fertilizer, power generation, or similar process facility.• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, HMI, VFD, analyzers, transmitters, control valves, motors, and electrical distribution systems.• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.• Experience calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning instrumentation.• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety practices.• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. BASIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment.• Support plant commissioning, startup, shutdown, and maintenance activities.• Maintain DCS, PLC, analyzers, transmitters, control valves, motors, MCCs, and related equipment.• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS.• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.• Work effectively with Operations, Engineering, and contractors to maximize plant reliability. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.• Must be able to work overtime, callouts, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift up to fifty pounds, and work in varied weather conditions.
