Turntide Technologies is pre-IPO with over ½ billion of investment. The Transport side of Turntide designs, develops and manufactures axial flux motors, HV inverters, LV motor controllers, batteries, pumps and fans for Commercial Vehicle, off-highway vehicle and non-road applications. We sell our product directly to OEMs and System Integrators. Our axial flux technology is unique in the industry and offers higher power density and higher efficiency compared to radial flux technology. The power electronics line is positioned to offer the highest performance at the lowest cost. OEMs and System Integrators combine our batteries in series and parallel to offer different system level voltages and energy levels creating the perfect energy storage and drive unit for each application.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and win new customers, including both OEMs and system integrators, across a variety of applications including construction vehicles, bus and truck, marine, material handling and other industrial electric/hybrid vehicles.
- Manage the sales process with new and existing customers from introduction to post-sales support
- Manage an opportunity pipeline in Salesforce CRM system
- Attend tradeshows and other industry events as needed to generate new sales leads and nurture existing customer relationships
- Engage with a range of customers from small start-ups to global enterprises and from entry to executive level to establish new accounts and grow existing accounts
- Work cross-functionally in the organization to ensure success of customer projects
- Exceed annual targets and build up the pipeline for future success.
- Support marketing, product management, sales operations, engineering and manufacturing to develop and execute campaigns for the region.
The Requirements
- Excels at working autonomously in a remote, fast-paced, and dynamic sales environment
- Direct experience winning business with Vehicle OEMs in the CV, Off-Highway and non-road markets
- Skilled at building new business by identifying targets and converting
- Successfully navigates large and complex accounts to build relationships
- Passionate about winning as a team (high degree of team-orientation)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline (or equivalent life-learning)
- Travel up to 25% of the time

- Direct experience with Electrification systems: motors, power electronics, thermal management, batteries, system integration
- Deep understanding of the Electrification value chain (key players, competitors, potential partners, vehicle OEMs, etc.)
