Purpose of the Role:

As a Laminate Development Co-op, you are a curious, hands-on learner. You enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and collaborating with a team to improve how things are made. You’re excited by the idea of working on a roll-to-roll manufacturing line, slurry mixing and contributing to the development of innovative processes and products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
You have a strong interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on experimentation.
You have basic understanding of process engineering principles and data analysis.
You are comfortable working in a lab or production environment.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic data tools.

What Success looks like in this role:

You will develop processes and optimize process parameters for slurry formation and laminate development.
You will become a reliable contributor to the process development team, supporting trials and experiments with precision and care.
You will demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting practical solutions.
You will maintain thorough and accurate documentation of your work, enabling reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
You will collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
