THE ROLE: Asset Operations Analyst

The primary role of the Asset Operations Analyst is to provide our lenders, partners, and internal management team with the analysis of the performance of our assets to support our decision-making process. This role will focus on the asset portfolio (PPA/Leases & Loans) and asset servicing business to ensure optimum performance and identify trends. Other activities will include assistance with financial operations, asset management, and accounting/billing.

Key responsibilities include:

· Prepare reports in PowerBI to monitor and control the production performance for the PPA and other assets portfolio

· Develop analysis of operational and financial data from various data sources (spreadsheets, g-sheets, sql database, csv files). This includes the analysis of rates/pricing, budget, invoicing, billing, and collections.

· Prepare reports that support data-driven decisions across the organization

· Prepare reports in PowerBI to measure and control the customer service performance of our department

· Prepare financial reports to control de budget and special projects expenses of our department

· Develop special projects’ feasibility analysis and finance transactions analysis

· Ensure on-time reporting to our internal clients

· Presentation of reports to senior management

· Work with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Executive teams to support financing relationships

· Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

General Knowledge and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree - Finance, Economics or Business is preferred

· 3+ years of experience in an analyst role. Industry experience in PPA/leases and/or loans preferred.

· Strong written and oral communications

· Comfortable working hard in a fast-paced environment

· Business performance analysis and data analytics experience; variance analysis of financial results, budgets, and operations; KPIs and servicing business

· Skilled in managing large data sets, translating to desired information & solutions

· Review of periodic financial statements

· Experience supporting corporate finance transactions

· Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and also lead improvement projects/initiatives

· Experience in distributed energy, solar, and/or retail power preferred; related industry loan experience also considered

Technical Skills:

· Advanced working skill set with Power BI (DAX functions, tables relationship, data types) - Required

· Advanced working skill set with MS Excel (vlookup, index, pivot tables, conditional functions) - Required

· Proficiency with SQL, Data Warehouses and other automated reporting (Preferred)

· Financial modeling experience (Preferred)

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree - Finance, Economics or Business is preferred
