Job Summary: The Sales Manager will create and execute sales and service plans. This role is also responsible for the top-line sales in the United States Northeast Region, while maintaining overall margin targets.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the formulation and execution of sales and plans for the assigned territory.
- Support and often lead Business development efforts with Telecom and Oil & Gas companies.
- Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, as well as develop new customers.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Maintain and enhance Qnergy’s image and reputation with customers, distributors, suppliers, and the public at large.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts for Qnergy while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Work closely with distributors to ensure full support in markets; continuous evaluation of performance of distributors; initiation of any required changes in distributors.
- Increase overall awareness of Qnergy products by travelling to facilitate face-to-face contact, participate in industry trade shows, field visits and other promotional methods as required.
- Process customer purchase orders, including review and approval of conversion of PO into internal sales orders.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, Technical Sales, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of previous outside sales experience.
- Proven track record of successful sales strategy and execution.
