Description

Job Summary: The Material Flow Manager you will provide operational support to the production line by overseeing the daily activities in receiving, inventory counts and controls, and logistics. This role will also train, supervise and assign workload to the warehouse team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily workflow for warehouse team.
  • Overseeing all operations of logistics, receiving, line replenishment, Inventory and warehousing storage.
  • Manage inventory levels on the production floor to ensure production lines have needed materials for assembly builds.
  • Oversees Inventory accuracy for all Qnergy locations.
  • Coordinates with other departments to establish and maintain a layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings which include support groups and management to communicate issues and promote solutions.
  • Develop and implement procedures for material management and control.
  • Assess and manage inventory levels to meet production requirements.
  • Drive compliance in conjunction with safety and quality teams.
  • Ensure company safety standards are understood and adhered to.
  • Resolve any material-related issues that could impact business operations.
  • Determine and make assignments to maintain on time delivery to the production line.
  • Track certifications and training for team members and ensure they are current and up to date.
  • In conjunction with HR, document performance and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to materials management.
  • Monitor area tools and equipment, coordinate maintenance activities, and suggest other needed equipment.
  • Oversee that Qnergy has a clean and organized storage area to ensure accessibility and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • BS degree in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field, preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Material Manager or similar role within supply chain management.
  • Must have 8 – 10 years’ warehouse experience.
  • Experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office and purchasing software.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and leaders.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented, consistent, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated team leader with the ability to build and maintain a high-quality assembly team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and have basic ability in mathematics
  • Good computer proficiency (emails, word processing, web-based applications, and managing computer files).

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at a time.
  • Experience driving forklifts & pallet jacks.
