Norsepower Marine Technology (Yancheng) Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSEQ Manager to join our team in Yancheng, China.

Norsepower offers innovative solutions for reducing the environmental impact of shipping, and we are looking for an HSEQ Manager to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices within our operations in China.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) function in China.
• Develop and implement HSEQ management systems in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HSEQ standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide HSEQ support and guidance to delivery projects and sourcing activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Supplier Quality Engineers, technology functions, procurement functions, and project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in HSEQ management within the marine or shipbuilding industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in conducting internal and supplier audits.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lead auditor certification, Six Sigma green/black belt certification.
• Previous experience with certification bodies or classification societies.
• Experience as a ship surveyor or qualification as a certified surveyor.
