Summary Of The Role
The Reliability Manager is responsible for overseeing the Reliability Improvment process of Threats & Opportunities Management for Next Decade RGLNG facilities. The Reliability Manager provides leadership and oversight of the Reliability team. The position will initiate in Houston, TX., until the second half of 2025, then move to Brownsville, TX., permanently.

Summary Of The Role
The Reliability Manager is responsible for overseeing the Reliability Improvment process of Threats & Opportunities Management for Next Decade RGLNG facilities. The Reliability Manager provides leadership and oversight of the Reliability team. The position will initiate in Houston, TX., until the second half of 2025, then move to Brownsville, TX., permanently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and leadership to the Reliability team
- Develop and implement the Reliability Improvement Process
- Act as a central reliability focal point for all departments to facilitate the Threats & Opportunities Management (TOM) process
- Develop and implement the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and act as focal point to facilitate RCA workshops
- Provide training on RCA to wider team
- Subject Matter Expert for facilitation of Reliability Centered Maintenance studies to improve equipment reliability and optimize maintenance cost
- Responsible to keep all Equipment Maintenance Strategies updated and optimized; in coordination with all departments but primarily the facilities engineering teams
- Responsible for conducting Maintenance Engineering and maintaining the accuracy and quality of job plans and work instructions
- Responsible for maintaining the Asset Performance Management (APM) system with regards to the RCM module, reliability data, dashboards and reporting
- In coordination with the Facilities Engineering team, implement the condition monitoring program and oversee the collection of condition monitoring data on an ongoing basis
- Develop and implement the relevant Performance Indicators for the RGLNG Reliability Team
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum one implementation of the Reliability Management function in a lead role capacity within any of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining or LNG Industries
- 2+ years LNG experience in a Reliability engineering role
- 10+ years of relevant Reliability Engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining or LNG Industries
- RCM workshop facilitation experience
- RCA facilitation experience
- SAP S4 HANA Experience
- GE APM Experience
- Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions
- Operates in a complex construction environment
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits
- Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction
- Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios
- Ability to drive to other Company work locations as required
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, including being physically capable of traveling to a designed muster point during emergency situations
- Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift
- The incumbent is required to have fully mechanical motion and usage of all extremities
- Physically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs. without assistance
- Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to clearly communicate with others via radio, phone, and verbal methods
- May be required to enter confined spaces
- May be required to work at elevated heights and access elevated structures without assistance
