Summary Of The Role
We are seeking an experienced LNG planning & logistics professional to join our dynamic commercial department. In this role, you will play a leading role in supporting the development and optimization of the LNG cargo lifting schedule for our LNG project.
Responsibilities
This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc.This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.

Summary Of The Role
We are seeking an experienced LNG planning & logistics professional to join our dynamic commercial department. In this role, you will play a leading role in supporting the development and optimization of the LNG cargo lifting schedule for our LNG project.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with LNG production operations team and LNG contract management team to develop and manage the LNG cargo lifting schedule and inventory position in order to meet contractual commitments, mitigate operational issues, and maximize value for Next Decade
- Work with LNG trading, shipping, and optimization teams to identify & optimize spot cargo opportunities
- Liaise with LNG marine department to coordinate logistics of vessel arrivals, departures, and other cargo loading
- Develop and implement processes, procedures, and systems to ensure the smooth development and delivery of the dynamic LNG cargo lifting schedule
- Train, develop, and lead less experienced planning & logistics coordination team members
- experience required:
- 6+ years of experience in commercial operations, logistics / scheduling, or trading within the energy industry, with prior LNG experience strongly preferred
- Strong commercial & operational acumen with experience working at the intersection of commercial and operational issues
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset that constantly seeks to identify real or potential issues, develop robust and actionable solutions, and optimize results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across functional boundaries
- Established track record of leadership, either with or without formal supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues – articulate in verbal communications and clear & thoughtful in written communications with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
- Operational knowledge of LNG plant operations and marine activities
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines, and a team-first collaborative mentality
- Undergraduate or graduate level degree in an engineering, operations, or other quantitative field

- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary
- Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions

- The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities
- Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions
