By combining emissions reduction associated with our carbon capture and storage project, responsibly sourced gas, and our pledge to use net-zero electricity, Rio Grande LNG is expected to produce a lower carbon intensive LNG for the world.

JOB SUMMARY

This is a Planner and Scheduler position to support time management of EPC LNG Projects. Typically, the project cost is multiple billions of dollars with duration of up to five years. The purpose of this role is to support the development, updating and forecasting of Level 1 and Level 3 schedules. Analysis of Contractors’ baseline and monthly schedule updates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support development of AACE Level 1 through level 3 schedules for FEED and EPC projects.
  • Support integration of multiple schedules into a Master Project Schedule (MPS) utilizing Primavera P6.
  • Update Schedules and perform critical path and variance analysis.
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
  • Gather and analyze information to prepare status reports.
  • On-site visits to analyze construction progress.
  • Review and analyze contractors’ Progress /Earned Value reports.
  • Review and analyze contractors’ monthly schedule updates.
  • Participate in weekly schedule reviews.
  • Prepare formal presentation related to project status.

Minumum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 4+years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling on Oil& Gas/power/LNG/Infrastructure projects required, large CAPEX
  • Advanced user of Primavera P6 including resource loading.
  • Good understating of planning and scheduling fundamentals such as CPM method, floats, constraints, relationship types.
  • Knowledge of Engineering and Construction techniques and relationships (logic) between various project phases as well as activities dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills, and advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel.
  • Judgement, trust, and carefulness in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to work independently and prioritize workload during peak periods.

Preferred Skills:

  • 6+ Years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling on Oil& Gas/power/LNG/Infrastructure projects required, large CAPEX
  • Power BI Software Knowledge
  • Experience with Acumen Fuse and Acumen Risk

Travel Requirements:

  • Position is in Houston. Will need to perform frequent trips to construction site during construction phase to gather information for schedule updates.

  • Work is performed both in an office with computers and in the field in sometimes challenging weather conditions.
  • Must be able to wear all mandatory/necessary PPE when working on the jobsite.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, including being physically capable of traveling to a designed muster point during emergency situations.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with others via radio, phone, and verbal methods.
