NextDecade IT Internships

At NextDecade, technology drives our mission to transform the energy sector. Our IT Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring IT professionals to gain hands-on experience in both IT Project Management (PMO) and IT Solutions Delivery. This program is designed to immerse you in real-world projects that are critical to our success.

What You'll Do: As an IT Intern, you will be involved in various aspects of IT project management and solutions delivery, potentially including:

IT PMO (Project Management Office):

• Assist in managing and coordinating IT projects, ensuring they stay on track, on time, and within budget.
• Help with project documentation, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Support the PMO team in resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring project alignment with business goals.

IT Solutions Delivery:

• Work on the implementation and support of IT solutions that enhance business operations.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements, helping to translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in testing and deploying IT solutions, ensuring they meet performance and usability standards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution and solution delivery.
• Administrative Support: Assist with maintaining project documentation, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communications between teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Students graduating December 2025 through December 2026 preferred, pursuing degrees in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about IT project management and solutions delivery.

Location: These internships are located in Houston, TX

Duration and Compensation: This internship program typically lasts 8-10 weeks offering valuable exposure to the LNG and energy industry. Compensation and additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
