SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Lead, Maintenance Systems will lead the full cycle implementation and execution of the SAP Plant Maintenance processes for the NextDecade Operations Team. This role will ensure all aspects of the CMMS functionality include the PM dependencies and integrations with other software systems and will be the Next Decade SAP PM, and other CMMS integrated systems Expert, most knowledgeable of the SAP PM construct, standard processes, and how to effectively utilize the system to drive consistent business results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead full life cycle implementation of SAP PM, from business requirements, by gathering relevant data and conducting business workshops, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, data loading, go-live, training, and post go-live support.
  • Represent the operations team in the implementation of SAP-PM at NextDecade
  • Lead the process to gather business requirements to ensure a robust SAP PM and associated Plant Maintenance applications implementation and on-going business value
  • Transform detailed requirements into complete detailed systems design documents and implement them in SAP.
  • Provide advisory services for implementation activities
  • Lead the SAP PM training and development program to build SAP PM proficiency and develop training materials for end-users
  • Provide thought leadership on new and emerging SAP technologies and the alignment to Next Decades strategic and near-term roadmaps and plans
  • Manage, prioritize and deliver all maintenance and enhancement change requests
  • Participate in solution reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions
  • Ensure compliance with the SAP PM business process requirements, which will align with the best maintenance and reliability practices.
  • Develop and lead SAP PM Audit capabilities to continually assess SAP PM process, technology, or proficiency gaps and design solutions to improve performance
  • Manage and lead all configuration efforts on PM Master data, PM Material, Assembly, Asset hierarchy, Serial Number, BOM, Maintenance Task List, Measuring Point, Counters, PM Work centers, Work Management processes, and Maintenance plans.
  • Provide expertise to support SAP MM and PM data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of the SAP MM and PM system and associated interfaces required to increase business value.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in math, computer science, engineering, or related discipline with an information technology focus, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years LNG experience
  • 8+ years of SAP/4HANA PM program experience with demonstrated business knowledge of MM FICO, QM, PP, and PS required
  • 1+ full life cycle SAP PM implementations
  • Business and IT experience within relation to implementing and operating a CMMS
  • Experience designing and implementing CMMS training documentation
  • Data Analytics (Power BI, SAP applications, or equivalent)
  • SAP PM UI/UX design or specification requirements gathering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ greenfield LNG export plant CMMS implementation
  • 5+ Years of SAP PM experience as a SAP Consultant or Corporate SAP PM Expert or equivalent CMMS
  • SAP Plant Maintenance (S/4 HANA) certification
  • Understanding of RCM and FMECA methodologies

  • Have solid mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge
  • Have a solid knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, and repair
  • Must understand Asset Management, its various components and organization
  • Must understand condition monitoring principles, tools, and application
  • Ability to communicate/teach SAP /4HANA PM best practices and changes to the system or supporting applications
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and CMMS data interrogation

Work Environment

  • Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.

  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
  • Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.
  • Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.
  • Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.
