SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Quality Compliance Coordinator will support the Quality Assurance team in the development of the Rio Grande LNG project (Project or RGLNG). The role shall support the team by ensuring all quality processes and procedures are followed and documented. The person will be involved in the coordination of various quality initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage quality documentation related to the Quality Management System, ensuring content is up to date and accessible to all required parties.
  • Support audit initiatives by preparing necessary data metrics and information, including following up on observations to ensure they are brought to closure.
  • Collect and review contractor data for accuracy, monitor key performance indicators, contribute to reporting, and develop action trackers as necessary.
  • Participate selectively in job site or vendor surveillance activities to ensure quality standards are met, in collaboration with Site Quality Management or Quality Assurance Management.
  • Liaison with various departments to review and report on adherence to corporate processes and standards.
  • Identify areas of improvement within existing quality processes and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate the smooth operation of the quality team by scheduling meetings, developing agendas, taking minutes, and handling various tasks as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, strong communicator and multitasker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related role.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and documentation control is a plus.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.

Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions.
  • While performing the duties of this role, the incumbent may be required to talk or listen.
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.
  • Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
