SERVICE TECHNICIAN – I / II

SUMMARY:

Aeroseal is looking for a Service technician I / II who will assist us in our mission by providing technical support via phone, video and perform repairs in shop and the field.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Outstanding customer service skills via phone, email, and in person.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work collaboratively across internal teams and disciplines.
  • 2 or 4 Year Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent technical trade experience (Electro-Mechanical Tech, HVAC Service Tech, construction industry).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting using mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Should be detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective time-management skills to complete projects per committed customer expectations.
  • Adept at using technology – measuring instruments, computers, Windows, Apps, MS Office tools, and a basic understanding of troubleshooting of hardware, software and firmware issues.
  • Should be excited to embrace new technology including using AI tools for driving improvements in support content and delivery.
  • Flexibility to be available on call (phone) for after hours and holiday support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support via phone, video, and text for troubleshooting field issues and performing equipment repairs.
  • Manage repair work with attention to timelines and customer follow-up, ensuring issues are resolved and cases are closed efficiently.
  • Utilize ERP and CRM systems for generating quotes, managing inventory, and documenting support calls.
  • Collaborate with other staff and departments to gather information and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product and application knowledge for all Aeroseal product lines.
  • Participate in the Tech Support rotation, handling after-hours dealer technical support needs via phone and email during evenings and select weekends.
  • Engage in special initiatives such as creating support videos, setting up ticketing systems, and updating knowledge base documents.S

The estimated pay range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
